Description

It is a digested peptic fresh meat selected, where you may find all the amino acids present in the meat; it is characterized by the presence of polypeptides with a high molecular weight.

Dissolved in distilled water gives a clear solution, which retains this characteristic even after sterilization in an autoclave.

Might be used as an ingredient in all the media in a digested peptic of animal tissue, according to the directives of USP1. Its use can cover different areas such as microbiology, as a constituent of various media, liquids or solids, nutrients and differential for the growth of bacteria and fungi, and pharmaceutical industries, for the cultivation of micro-organisms for the production of antibiotics, vitamins ,etc.

The high sulphur content makes it suitable for tests of production of hydrogen sulfide.
