Description

The bacterial charge of the sample is determined in well 1A, with a new principle of linear sowing, using a calibrate loop of 10 µl. With the aid of a graduated scale printed on the support, it rapidly gets the charge of the sample expressed in U.F.C./ml.

The isolation is particularly taken care of and is safe even in the presence of samples with high bacterial loads, thanks to the introduction of a specific linear well 1B, parallel to that used for counting.

The linear sowing allows also dilute any antibiotics or chemical inhibitors present in the samples, which with the classic immersion systems determine a total inhibition of the growth of settlements and therefore false negatives. Thanks to the transparent support the display of colonies is more accurate, especially in cases of mixed cultures (polymicrobial).

Linearcount 3 media support contains:
