Description

The linearcount 3 Vaginal Swab kit allows the cultivation and isolation in a single support of streptococci, staphylococci and fungi (under aerobic conditions) and of Gardnerella vaginalis (in microaerobic conditions).

Linearcount 3 media kit contains:

• Columbia C.N.A. Agar (used for the isolation of gram-positive micro-organisms, and also allows to highlight the different types of hemolysis of streptococci and staphylococci)
• Sabouraud Agar+CAF+TTC (used for the isolation of pathogenic fungi from clinical samples, and also allows the differentiation of Candida albicans)
• Gardnerella Vaginalis Agar (used for the selective isolation of G. vaginalis)
