Description

ANTIBIOTIC MEDIUM N°2 is a medium used for the dosage of antibiotics and determination of the antimicrobial efficacy, formulated in accordance to the Pharmacopoeia and FDA methods, to determine the activity (potency) of an antibiotic with microbial assay technique.

This medium is used as an agar medium for the sowing but also as the basic medium for the assay of Bacitracin and Penicillin G.
