Description

Selective supplement for the isolation of campylobacter spp from food, environmental and clinical samples, when it is suspected a high flora contamination. The formulation of the Campylobacter Selective Supplement Mod is in accordance with UNI EN ISO 10272-1/2 :2017 - ISTISAN 96/35 and O.I.E. Manual of 2008, Chapt. 2.9.3, based on the formula described by Bolton and Robertson, replacing Cycloheximide with the Anphotericin B. The supplement is used for the production of the Preston Agar and/or for the preparation of enrichment broth (Preston Broth) for the search of thermophilic Campylobacter spp.
