Description

Candida Chromogenic Agar is a selective and chromogenic medium for the isolation and differentiation of Candida albicans, C.krusei, C.tropicalis, C.glabrata from clinical samples.

The mix of peptones selected from the highest quality raw materials, provide the nutrients. The chromogenic mixture adopted allows the release of compounds of different color according to the enzymatic degradation of the fungal species, making it specific and unambiguous.

It allows the differentiation of the various species of Candida according to the color of the colonies (see photo).
