Description

m-COLIFORM AGAR is a selective and differential medium for the determination of E. coli and others coliforms from water (APAT CNR IRSA Met 7010C) and foods.

The differentiation of coliforms and E.coli is possible thanks to the presence of two chromogenic substrates, one for the determination of beta-galactosidase (coliforms: pink color) and one for the determination of beta-glucuronidase (E.coli, Salmonella and Shigella: blue/violet).
